 The faculty and staff welcome you to Lockett Elementary School. It is very satisfying to be in a school where we look forward to working with you and your child/children this school year.

As stated in our mission statement, we want to provide all students the educational opportunities to become life-long learners. All students will be successful citizens of our society with the combined efforts of the school, home, and the community,

All of us, as participants in this endeavor, must realize that we share the responsibility. We need to realize that the most successful students have strong parental support. We highly recommend that you as a parent be actively involved in your child’s education.

 Lockett Elementary is a school where every child is acknowledged for having potential and talents.  Each child can reach his/her full potential with guidance and care.

 The world is becoming more complex every day. As caretakers of your child/children, we will make every effort to educate every student to their full potential within the learning process. If our students are going to succeed, they must first be successfully educated.

 We welcome you to visit Lockett Elementary at anytime. We are committed to your child and you as we go about the business of making your children a success, both academically and socially. Educating the whole child is our promise as we strive to make education the cornerstone of life.
